Memories in Space & Place

Artists: Claire Rosslyn Wilson

What makes a certain place and object unique? According to Claude Levi-Strauss, material things are goods to think with, a way to reflect on our past and come up with new ideas. Through associational, lateral and unexpected angles, we track and share stories of “things” on the streets of Canberra from diverse perspectives. This event explores our relationship with objects and how they connect us to the world around us. Join the conversation, facilitated by Claire Rosslyn Wilson, and draw out how writers conceive their creative process and the influence of place in creative writing.
