LitHop: Literary Protest March

Artist: Ashley Kalagian Blunt

'Shakespeare needs new material!'

'Jane Austen is only famous because of Colin Firth'

'Hey hey, ho ho, Hemingway has got to go'

Noted is taking on the literary canon. We're tired of school children being subjected to the same texts by dead white men year after year, generation after generation. Wear your best literary t-shirts, create witty lit-y placards, shout your rage into the cold Canberra night and join us on our anti-canon protest march through the city. We'll be on the look-out for the best and funniest anti-canon placards and chants.

Please note: LitHop is an indoor/outdoor event. Canberra weather can be extremely cold at this time of year. Please ensure that you wear appropriate attire for the weather conditions. Noted will advise of any weather-related program changes or cancellations via social media throughout the festival.
