Artists: Kermie Breydon and members of the Noted Festival and Canberra communitites
The sharing of oral histories is vital to ensuring cultural knowledge is preserved for future generations. Too often isolation, language barriers, social pressures, and unreceptive audiences mean that cultural knowledge is lost, particularly in communities lacking in intergenerational connection. In this sharing circle, facilitated by Kermie Breydon, attendees will hear a diverse array of hyperlocal and culturally specific histories often excluded from mainstream discourse.
Please note: It is kindly requested that participants and attendees refrain from wearing perfumed products or smoking in the lead-up to this session.
