Writing Powerful Dialogue

  • E Block Seminar Room, Gorman Arts Centre 55 Ainslie Avenue Braddon, ACT, 2612 Australia (map)

Artists: Laura E. Goodin

Good dialogue is the power source of fiction as well as drama:  it's the writer's main tool to work with the energy of the story and keep readers immersed in the characters' lives.  This workshop will cover a number of techniques for writing electric dialogue, and participants will have the chance to practise them, as well as develop ideas for how to apply them to their own writing.
